You have been so open and public about your ordeal and recovery from the “C” word, and I honestly don’t think I have ever prayed so much for one of my brides.

We all love you and Alex so much. After seeing the two of you at what has to be at least 20 weddings — and even getting to eat at your table at a few of them! — I was BEYOND excited that it was finally your turn and that Melissa & I got to photograph YOUR wedding.

Eva, you could not have been more beautiful, more fun, or more joyful for Melissa and me to photograph. And Alex… you are amazing. It has been such a pleasure getting to know you and this incredible group of friends over the years.

This community has always had my heart, and all of you are such a beautiful example of what a community should be. Watching everyone rally around Eva, love her, pray for her, and support both of you through everything was incredibly moving.

And then to finally see you two standing there on your wedding day, surrounded by all of those people who love you so much… it meant more to me than I can put into words.
