We started out at Salon Esbi then went to the house where I was introduced to a Carpathian tradition I was unaware of.
At the homes of both the Bride and Groom the relatives eat drink and smoke as well as take turns singing to the Bride and the Groom. At time it got very
emotional and I wish I could understand what they were saying. This went on for hours and I became concerned that Sophia was going to miss her own Wedding!
Nobody seemed the least bit concerned so I asked and everyone assured me that being at least an hour late is also a tradition! The A.C. was out of order at the church and it was HOT. I was hoping the priest would only do each thing once instead of three times. We went to Mentor Headlands for a few quick photos and then straight to LaMalfa. The party lasted until 1:30 A.M. with lots of dancing and great food! Thanks for having us!
